AQHA Best Remudas Become 2009 AQHA Calendar

The American Quarter Horse Journal, November 7, 2008 – For a limited time, horse and ranching enthusiasts can purchase AQHA’s Best Remudas 2009 Calendar and enjoy 12 months of stunning photos of America’s most noteworthy ranches, their American Quarter Horses and cowboys that define their ranches and work.

Jim Jennings, AQHA Executive Director of Publications and author of the best-selling book “Best Remudas” offers 70 captivating photographs taken at ranches that have received the prestigious AQHA Bayer Best Remuda Award. Each month also highlights important AQHA events and deadlines. Whether it’s hanging in your barn, office or home, the AQHA Best Remuda Calendar will keep you on track while offering a glimpse into our western heritage, which is alive today.

The 2009 calendar is a perfect companion to the book and the “Best Remuda Award Winners” DVD that features some of Jim’s experiences during his visits to the ranches. Be sure to pick up the book and DVD when you purchase your 2009 AQHA Best Remudas Calendar.

The 2009 Best Remudas Calendar is now available at Quarter Horse Outfitters for $12.99. The “Best Remudas” book/DVD combination can be purchased for $54.95 (plus shipping and handling). Anyone who loves American Quarter Horses and the western lifestyle will love the Best Remudas collection.

Since 1992, AQHA and Bayer Animal Health have selected one North American ranch to receive their annual Best Remuda award. Winning ranches are selected not only for their quality horses but also for how the remuda is an integral part of daily life on a real working ranch. Winners stretch from Canada to the Mexican border, and the traditions and way of everyday life are as diverse as the ranches and the people on them.
